Dr. Hixson received her degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has also obtained Fellow status with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hixson has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology since 1987.In 1998 she limited her practice to gynecology and women's health. In 2004, she opened her own practice, Women’s Health Partners, with the express goal of being able to provide premium health care and service to her patients. Dr. Hixson’s special interests include urinary incontinence, prolapse, abnormal bleeding and management of menopausal symptoms .
